This is a very nice hotel. Friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet and good location. We expected to stay in a typical hotel room but were assigned a suite with a huge bedroom, bathroom and separate sitting area. More like an apartment (without kitchen) than a hotel room. The hotel was recently converted from a school, so everything is new and clean. Bayeux is small enough that everything is within easy walking distance, so even though the hotel is not in the central part of the city, it is only about a five minute walk to the cathedral and a couple minutes more to the tapestry museum. We reserved a D Day beaches tour through the hotel when we reserved our room, so if you're coming here to see the beaches this is an easy way to line everything up in advance. The tour was also terrific.
